Doug and His New Pitchback

  Doug practices pitching

May

Doug got a pitchback for his birthday last month.  Pitching is extremely important at Doug's next level (next year) because for the first time kids pitch instead of machines.  The games can go on forever as batter after batter is walked.  Don't know if Doug will want to be a pitcher, but he certainly can't without practicing.
Although the backyard is nearly the perfect length to resemble a Little League pitch to home plate (45 feet?), the backyard is now owned by The Dance, who assumes all tossed balls are for her.  So notice that Doug is playing in the front yard.
The thing about the pitchback that most pleased Dad was that he made its storage space on the side of the ping pong table, thereby not requiring any additional storage space in the already filled to capacity garage.
